okay.. time to get some work done!!! These lovely, delicious, veggie Taco’s from that new taco stand up the street from my house should help things along.. The fact that there is a taco stand within walking distance from me.. may be the best thing to ever happen to me.. (Aside from my lovely daughter and great husband of course.. )
Update: Yes this was purchased from the Taco Lot on Wellington and they’re real and they’re spectacular!! (said in the same tone Teri Hatcher used to describe her breasts to Jerry Seinfeld)
This morning I woke up to -26 (feels like -33). So like any sane person would do, I got out of bed, got dressed in a lot of layers and drove to the river. There, I put on my snowshoes, and went for a walk.. it was just me and the sound of the snow crunching under me and the shutter on my camera. You could hear the river, but could hardly see it. It was really beautiful..
Garlic Dipping Sauce
Guys.. I think I like Gabriels garlic dipping sauce wayyy more then pizza pizza’s
Oh nothing too exciting happening up here in Canada land….
Just our Government falling and all… and we have to vote for a new one in an election in may, (which is cool, because supposedly the government sort of sucked and was doing all this secret stuff behind our backs) . So… I guess we felt like we where out of the loop and wanted to jump on the.. “I hate my political leader, he’s so mean…bandwagon”….
But in reality, since there really isn’t any oppressed Canadians retaliating in protest and knocking over statues and stuff (its too cold for that).. this probably wont be news anywhere else but here..
But here is link to our Canada News site if you want to know the details..
Oh, and if you see an “ou” where an “o” should be like in the word “colour”.. it’s not a spelling mistake.. we actually spell it that way on purpose up here.
What a lovely Monday morning…. really getting sick and tired of this shit…
New Record Store Coming To Ottawa!!!
On March 13th this year, we said goodbye to Endhits.. But with one store gone, another is going to pop up soon!! Keep your eyes (and ears) opened for the “The Record Shaap”.. The new owner Matty McGovern, who’s worked at 4 different independent record stores around the city (Record Runner, Organised Sound, CD Exchange, and Endhits) and if you have spent countless nights at Zaphods, you probably know him as DJ Matty…
The Record Shaap will be located at 209 Gilmour St. in the basement of local Aunt Olive’s! They will be carrying CDs and Vinyls in: Indie, metal, punk, folk, electronic, jazz, rock, and hopefully a slew of local bands!
